Sandy Paws was inspired by the beach near where my Dad grew up, in the North East. I loved all of the sand dunes and flora and fauna on the beach and thought that it would be the perfect backdrop for a scene with a dog walker.

Blowing the Cobwebs Away was Inspired by a recent trip to Wells next the Sea in Norfolk for my husbands birthday.
The minute I saw the beautiful beach huts stretching along the beach, I knew that I had to put them into a painting. The beach was also full of people enjoying a lovely stroll with their four legged friends, so I decided to create another dog walking scene using this stunning beach and it’s beach huts.

The Sea Garden was inspired by a beautiful holiday home that I stayed in, in Cornwall a couple of years ago. When I walked into the sitting room, I couldn’t believe the stunning view through the window and knew instantly that I had to paint the scene…and The Sea Garden is the result of that beautiful view.
